Systems allow you more freedom as an entrepreneur. That is because whatever you do in your business is something that you want to set it and forget it. That’sbecause you want to set it up so that it could work recurrently for you. This will ultimately allow you more free time and flexibility. Most importantly, it will allow you to duplicate, triplicate, quadruplicate, what you have already created. For every phase and stage of business, there are definitely systems that you can work on implementation.
I'm going to dive into the organized and the structured systems in this chapter and separate them into three main categories. Usually when we talk about systems, a lot of people might not even have the clear understanding as to what it means exactly. In the online world we hear about automating emails, funnels, lead pages etc. This is mostly what people think of when they hear online systems. I would define systems in your business as a defined set of principles, practices and procedures that are applied to specific activities to achieve specific results. Basically, it’s about creating a set of shortcuts that will make sure everything still gets done right. You can create systems for many areas of your business. One of the three main categories for systems in your business are recurring conversations. We need a system for how to actually implement all these conversations into our day to day operations or the day to day running of our business, so that we are more effective and moving our prospects into our marketing journey faster and more efficiently. As we are exposing more people to our brand and converting more clients into our business at all times, we ensure that we are always expanding. The second system that you need to implement in your business is recurring events. We need to have these events planned so that we set the stage, nurture with the right touchpoints and initiate the right purposeful conversations when we invite people to them. This is so that they can get to know us and build trust with our brand faster. Of course, we can also have that as a serving mechanism to client attraction. So we need to always have conversations regarding inviting people to recurring events. The third system that we need to set in place in our business is to have recurring tasks automated. When you are at the beginning of your business, you don't have a lot of clarity over what is really recurring as far as tasks are concerned, because you're also learning. So you're testing, you're trialing and erroring, depending on if you have the right support you need or not. So a lot of times you might not even have the awareness of what some of the tasks that you're constantly working on are, that are repeating over and over so that you can eventually automate.
