The next secret in building a legacy brand is having a big umbrella of the main topic that you want to stand out for in the marketplace, have a big umbrella of the topic that you want to get known for. And then have four main legacy pillars in the business or topics that you constantly are teaching on different perspectives, whether it's through your content, whether it's through all the places you go to speak, whether it's through networking, wherever you are in contact with your ideal audience.
You want to ensure that you are always positioning yourself on those four main pillar topics. That is going to help you create consistency and build trust with your audience. In building a legacy brand, what's always important is to stay consistent in order to build trust, when you are consistent, you can rest assured that your audience can trust you to show up and when you do and also deliver on the services that you actually provide then you're golden.
The other thing is, of course, authenticity. Be unique. Be yourself. This is not something that is new I bet. Do the inner work as the visionary CEO of your business, you want to really align with your inner self, so that the direction of your business, the direction of your vision and mission is always internally guided. When you do that you ensure that whatever you are intuitively putting out there in the world as your personal brand, you are mostly aligned with and that automatically makes you different and unique and more importantly attracting the right people towards you.
The other secret is make sure that you are finding the gap in the marketplace with the services that you provide. Find the gap and speak to that gap and position yourself differently from what's already being offered. That is also something that's really valuable when you are building a legacy brand, always looking for and filling the gaps. There's always gaps in the marketplace.
Next, you want to be a great student to what's already being offered based on your area of expertise. Always ask, how is it that you can bring a different perspective to that so that you can stand out?
