Self sabotage occurs often and we have to be very aware of it in every level of our business and new things we introduce into our lives.
It shows up when:
• clients are trying to increase their visibility
• when trying to get more clients
• when making higher offers
• trying to boost sales
• reaching new people to connect
• Lead Generation
Basically it shows up when you are trying to introduce something that you aren't comfortable with yet.
In order to be comfortable we have to lean to be uncomfortable!
Everything takes practice and everything is a learnable skill.
Self Sabotage is present because our brains operates in 3 different manners and ways.
Most of the times if we don't understand or have the awareness of how our mindset is blocking us we will believe our thoughts. So this stops us from growth we need to make.
Think of your brain as a car, who is in the driver seat?
The types of drivers:
Survival: fear and uncertainty when something new is happening. In every stage fear kicks in and we feel small. So we can protect ourselves.
Motivation: Think of opportunity's and think of solutions to things you want to accomplish. But doesn't raise awareness.
Visual: The most rational, intuitional and heart driven part of the brain. We make better decisions and we can visualize the future that we want to achieve and strategize on next steps that we want to take. We go into this mode often especially when we need to strategize and plan for our business.
We need white space to make better decisions.
Be aware of how these drivers show up and how they influence our business.
Don't make important decisions with the Survival part of the brain!
